Tricia Rose Tanoos

Attorney

Tricia Rose Tanoos is a compassionate and caring attorney, who has a deep love of her community. She brings a wealth of experience in estate and trust planning and elder law to BB&C, but also a passion for helping others.

Tricia graduated from Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law in Indianapolis in 2006, and since then much of her career has focused on helping clients preserve their legacy and care for their loved ones. She has over 15 years of experience Long-term care, Medicaid, Disability, Trust and Estate planning as well as Guardianship, Estate and Trust Administration. Over the years she has advised a wide range of clients, from those with modest means to those establishing a philanthropic legacy.

Beyond her legal work, Tricia is a dedicated volunteer, having donated hundreds of hours to local charities and civic organizations in her hometown of Terre Haute, Indiana, including the St. George Antiochian Orthodox Church and as a leader in pro bono projects with the Terre Haute Bar Association, including the Mock Trial Challenge and Talk to a Lawyer Day. As a new resident in the Greater Lafayette area, she looks forward to joining the Tippecanoe County Bar Association as well as integrating into the local community.

Tricia is driven by genuine empathy for others, including individuals who cannot afford legal services. She has generously donated her time to those in need, demonstrating her commitment to the betterment of her community.

When she’s not advocating for others, Tricia spends quality time with her husband, James Tanoos, a Clinical Associate Professor at Purdue Polytechnic, and their three children—Michael, Lucia, and JJ.
